Alternative Investments
Benefactors can invest in innovative businesses that Marianists have helped persons in rural poor regions develop to end their poverty. Marianist brothers direct or manage these operations as they train others to build and run them.
Examples of these investments include purchasing farm animals and equipment that lead to successful agricultural ventures and small manufacturing or food processing operations. Investors receive dividends, which many choose to return to the ministries.
Please contact Father David Paul in the Development Office for more information on these options: DPaul@sm-usa.org.
